predeparture course.
it alternated between mad mad fun and extreme boredom. but one thing for sure, i learnt ALOT. if not general knowledge, then at least the way our government thinks. doesn't paint a very pretty picture but sure as hell pragmatic. BUUUT the ministry i am in is people friendly and the place for idealists! so yay come join me! the lonely soul amoung annoyinglybright people...
so yah i was the extra one at the course. haiyah. all the 'open' people thought i was 'teaching', the 'teaching' people thought i was 'open'. should have bluffed that i took army =p
anyways, did u know that teachers take up one big chunk of the civil service???

mad fun cos we were trying to shoo away boredom! it was like back to primary school man. what started off as scissors paper stone went on to the person bomb plane zha and then group shadow zha and group jiguba. so hard to say in chinese. we were basically making a lot of noise and entertaining ourselves haha how unbecoming.
thirteen has six people who're going to enter government service.(expected much more, but of course its very good to spend your own money and not deprive others of a scholarship.)
1c has five/six(?) people who're going to enter the research world.
so different huh?
